is a self-taught artist raised in the
traditions of the Sac and Fox. His emphasis
is in keeping with the traditions of his
culture and preserving the stories and
accounts of his tribe as described to him by
his grandfather Thomas Morris, Mo-gi-We-mi-ko,
Bad Thunder. Warrior's grandfather was his
earliest critic and greatest influence by
instructing him in the ways of his people.
Antowine describes his style as "primitive"
and states that he has his grandfather in
mind every time he begins to paint.
